THE WHITE AND BLACK DRAMA

there is something bout the 'black and white' mode in the bulky camera,or for the adobe-neers,this technique is not sinonime and widely used on most of the graphic designer or photographer nowdays.firstly, its because rich colour couse sometime hides people perspective or the dramatic feel that the photographer tried to express, the message could not be totally delivered!

thus,i tried to snap some pictures, potraits to be precise to show you guys the character in people's face and the mood that they express, the lining took a while to be retouched, and the final touch wasnt my best..but heck,i wanna learn more and this is somehow a progession to me...till then:)

this picture is slightly difficult because of the young face.yup,i really find it hard to express the dramtic effect to the younger looking face.the lines are relatively low.therefore i have to play with the contrast and midtone to tweak the shadow a little bit and the outcome is pretty impressive.note that this is my only personal taste and not valuated by any professional photographer.

finally ive managed to capture my grandma's potrait and believe me.it wasnt easy as it seems:P..for these two pictures, ive used both 50mm f1.8 nikkor lens on my full frame d90.the fast aperture do come in handy to cope my shaky hands.ouh,by the way,in plain english, fast aperture=fast shutter speed:)
